Frankfurt, Germany

We arrived in Frankfurt on the 23rd of January, 2008. It was gloomy and initially we definitely were lost. Fortunately, we quickly made a friend who is a travel planner for old folks. She had hostel she was going to and we followed. From there life was easy breezy. We got checked in and took a little nap before starting our exploring ways. Our hostel, it appeared was very much in the Red Light District of the town. Frankfurt was an expensive place but a real treat none the less. We then went on to Prague to drop our belongings off with Petr (a friend who studied at KSU last year) and his family. We stayed with them for a few days before heading north to Warsaw, Poland where I currently am. Tonight we are on our way to Riga, Latvia and then on to Estonia or Lithuania. I will post pictures when I figure out how...

Guten Tag. Glad you arrived fine and are already having stories to tell!

Hope you get a chance to visit Auschwitz (near Crackow) on your tour.

Enjoy and keep posting for us here on the home front.

Love...Pops.
